Where To Find The Transference Of Souls In Dragon’s Dogma 2
The Transference Of Souls Is A Unique Book Spread Across Two Volumes
The Transference of souls is a magical book in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that, when both volumes are combined it grants the user access to a Forgotten Spell.
Eagle-eyed players will likely encounter The Transference of Souls Volume II before finding the first volume of the book. As you follow the story of Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will eventually reach the Checkpoint Rest Town, this is the last stop before reaching Battahl.
Where To Find The Transference Of Souls
The Transference of Souls book are tied to a number of quests. You can purchase Volume 2 whenever you reach Checkpoint Rest Town. Ibrahim’s forgery shop has a copy for sale. That leaves Volume 1 to find.
Volume 1 can be found in Bakbattahl, the capital city of Battahl. You can take an Oxcart from the Battahl side of Checkpoint Rest Town to reach the city quickly and easily.
Once in the city head to Isaac’s Wares, the apothecary. Purchase a Ferrystone and he will mention a book that he’s having trouble reading. He requires a Ripened Quince in order to heal his eye.
Finding The Ripened Quince
Quince are lemon-like fruits that grow commonly in Battahl. Once you have a Quince, leave it in your inventory for 2-3 in-game days and eventually it will ripen. Then either immediately store it or give it to Isaac to avoid it going rotten.
Once Isaac has the Ripened Quince you will need to wait a short while and visit him again, he will then ask you to find the other half of the book.
As you leave Isaac’s Wares his concerned mother and daughter will approach you and ask you not to give him the book.
Finishing The Quest
We suggest, once you reach Ibrahim’s Scrap Store, make sure to have him create a forgery of the Transference of Souls. This way you can finish the quest and not have a rather bad outcome…
You can then return to Isaac and give him the fake book. After the spell fails, let Isaac return to his store. You can then buy the Transference Of Souls 1 from him for 2,000 Gold.
