Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Destined for Rebirth Trailer Released

A new trailer for Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has made its debut, dubbed “Destined for Rebirth.”

Continuing from the events of 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake, this action RPG picks right up after Cloud Strife and the other members of the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE escape from the city of Midgar in pursuit of the former elite SOLDIER Sephiroth.

This title differs from its predecessor, in that it features an open-ended world that players can explore. With a world as big as this one, players will be able to equip the Chocobo Lure Materia to grab a bird and easily travel from place to place. No need to worry about getting lost, however; objective markers that highlight both main story quests and ongoing sidequests will also be available.
