Little Nightmares 3 Announced At Gamescom
During Opening Night Live 2023, Bandai surprised us with a new Little Nightmares game. And in an even bigger surprise, the game is being developed by Supermassive Games.
Little Nightmares 3 Announced At Gamescom
Little Nightmares 3 follows friends, Low and Alone, as they try to escape the place called The Nowhere. The Nowhere is described as a nightmarish world, and the pair must rely on each other to survive.
In the trailer, we see them solving puzzles together, sneaking around behind enemies, and using umbrellas to float to safety. The creepiest moment is when the giant baby doll tries to capture the friends. Who knows what unknown horrors await if you are caught.
A new gameplay mechanic will be introduced in the sequel called Iconic Items. Low gets a bow and arrow, and Alone gets a wrench. No word on what the items do outside of helping with puzzles, but it’s a welcome addition.
I’m a huge fan of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, making this one of the best things in the show for me. It’ll be hard for them to top the second game in my eyes, but I am hoping they can make it happen.
No word on a release date outside of 2024.
