November is here, meaning that Black Friday is almost here. Here are 5 games we’re looking forward to in November. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.
5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in November
Watch Dogs 2
The high-tech world of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs moves to San Francisco in the upcoming open world title Watch Dogs 2. Players take control of Marcus Holloway, a hacker that works with DedSec to take down the city’s surveillance system, ctOS 2.0. We’re looking forward to playing with its stealth and parkour mechanics, as well as diving into its overhauled multiplayer modes.
Watch Dogs 2 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15, 2016.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
The world of Game Freak’s Pokemon hits the beach in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Much like previous titles, players can catch, trade, and battle Pokemon, all while taking down the evil organization Team Skull. We’re looking forward to exploring the new Alola region, as well as trying the titles’ new Z-Moves.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will come out for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Activision’s shooter franchise Call of Duty marches on with the latest entry in the series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Taking place in a new environment, players will now encounter elements like zero-gravity zones and aerial combat. We’re looking forward to mastering these new elements, and also taking the fight online.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4, 2016.
Dishonored 2
Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks’ Dishonored series returns this November with the sequel Dishonored 2. Taking place in the coastal city of Karnaca, players take control of either Empress Emily Kaldwin or her bodyguard and father Corvo Attano as they attempt to reclaim the throne. We’re looking forward to diving into the titles’ stealth mechanics, and also trying out Dishonored 2’s array of new abilities.
Dishonored 2 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 11, 2016.
Final Fantasy XV
After more than 10 years of development, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV is almost here. Taking a darker tone that focuses more on more realistic environments and human characters, this open-world action role playing game tells the tale of Noctis Lucis Caelum and his quest to retake his homeland. We’re looking forward to getting lost in the world of Eos, and also mastering the titles’ Active Cross Battle system.
Final Fantasy XV will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29, 2016.
What we at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to the most:
There are a lot of solid video games coming out this month, but we’re looking forward to Final Fantasy XV the most. There is a lot of development time and story behind this game, and we’re looking forward to exploring every last nook and cranny of this title.
Casey Scheld has more than 15 years of experience in the gaming industry as a community manager, social media director, event specialist, and (of course) gaming editor. He has previously worked with gaming start-ups like Raptr, publishers like Konami, and roller derby girls at PAX West (check out Jam City Rollergirls)!
Gamers Heroes is a passion project for him, giving him a chance to tap into the underground side of gaming. He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing.
