Starship Troopers: Extermination 1.0 Coming October 11
During today’s IGN Live event earlier today, the team at Offworld and Sony Pictures Consumer Products announced that Starship Troopers: Extermination will launch out of Early Access into 1.0 on October 11.
To mark this announcement, Starship Troopers star Casper Van Dien revealed that his iconic character General John “Johnny” Rico will make his return in Starship Troopers: Extermination.
As part of his role, he will command players in a new, single-player game mode with this 1.0 launch. 25 distinct missions and a variety of PvE combat scenarios will make their appearance across multiple environments. Note that a second chapter will follow post-launch.

The Early Access edition of Starship Troopers: Extermination, as of Update 0.7.0, can be purchased for $29.99 as of this writing.
Note that the title will also release for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 11.
